We are currently hiring experienced Shift Managers who can lead by example, support daily operations, develop team members, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do:
- Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
- Coach, train, and develop team members.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Ensure food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently maintained.
- Support staffing, onboarding, and training efforts.
- Complete and verify opening, shift change, and closing procedures.
- Create a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
- Lead with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and teamwork.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Help drive sales, productivity, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- Food service, restaurant, or hospitality management experience required.
- Customer service experience (3+ years preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Train, coach, and assess team member productivity and performance.
- Manage daily store operations and support restaurant profitability.
- Increase sales through exceptional guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational execution.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance expectations.
- Oversee inventory, stock levels, and operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Captain Jay's standards and procedures.
- Set and execute performance goals to improve operational results.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Physical Setting:
- Fast-casual food service environment.
- Single-store location assignment.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and active movement throughout shifts.
